Does an engagement ring come with a box?

Yes, our rings are beautifully presented in our signature Joshua James midnight blue box, ideally sized to be placed discreetly in a jacket pocket and ready for popping the question. Your diamond engagement ring will also come with either an IGI (International Gemological Institute) or GIA (Gemological Institute of America) certificate as proof of the diamonds grade and authenticity. It's fair to say though the main event is sitting in the blue box

While tradition once suggested spending three months' salary—a notion popularised by De Beers in the 1930s—we believe that that outdated guideline is excessive for many. So there's no hard set answer to this, an engagement ring should cost as much as you want to spend.
